Here s/he is again. I think it's a vixen.

Beautiful shot, film?

Those are some striking eyeballs! My only nit is there seems to be something funky going on with the tip of the tail.

Midnight Fox!

Beautiful animal! The setting is less than ideal, unfortunately. It looks like the fox was standing at the top of a road cut. And I do wonder about the tip of the tail as well. If there is a little additional detail in the fur on the chest, I'd bring that out. But it's a good pose and the animal is well-positioned within the cropped frame.

Jason, it's digital.
Jeff & Glenn, yes, I see the yellow cast. And, yes, it was a road cut.
Reposted uncropped & with the tail tip white.

Lovely image. I think I prefer the cropped version, with maybe a bit more room at the top.

This is a superb image of an animal I rarely see images of. I'm thrilled that you removed the color cast of the original, but I do like that crop with a bit more left on top to lose those distracting highlights seen in #2.
And those eyes! Superb capture, Monika! :toast:

Thanks for all your help with this. I didn't get around to putting it on my big monitor today. I removed those highlights & re-cropped with more room at the top.I always learn a lot from the critiques, so keep it coming!
