When I opened Viveza yesterday, it froze up and also froze CS5. Can't close it either Viveza or CS5. Re-booting solved nothing - opening CS5 brings up the frozen Viveza again.
Any ideas? help?

Try this method of resetting Photoshop's preferences:
Start PS and hold down the Ctrl+Alt+Shift keys together immediately after (or while) launching Photoshop. A prompt will ask if you want to delete the preferences file. Click Yes.
This step often cures seeming inexplicable problems with PS.
It sounds like the Viveza Plugin has gone south. My advice would be to try uninstalling the plugin, download the latest version and then reinstall.
From the Nik website: To uninstall on Mac or Windows...
Macintosh:
To uninstall on the Macintosh OS, double-click to open a downloaded installation DMG file. Double-click on the Uninstaller and follow the on-screen instructions until the process is complete.
Windows:
To uninstall on the Windows OS, click the Start menu and navigate to Control Panel > Uninstall a Program. Then, click on the plug-in you wish to uninstall to highlight it and click Uninstall. Follow the on-screen instructions until the process is complete.
If this doesn't work, I suggest you contact Nik Support.
I usually do not advocate uninstalling and then reinstalling a program, but in this case, that may be the best way to approach this. Once you've reinstalled the software, do a cold reboot and then see if it works.
