Sorry for the absence lately, I've been busy with a new project . I've been very lucky to gain access to a new location which has great promise. Here is a friendly little robin which was very interested in the camera. The light was very challenging, flash wasn't giving me the results I liked as I was working very near to a large building, so I pushed the ISO on the 7D instead. I think it did okay considering the conditions.
Techs: Canon 7D, EF300mm f/2.8L IS USM II lens, 2x extender mk3, tripod and gimbal. ISO 1600, 1/125th sec, f/5.6. Slight crop to the LHS.
Thanks for looking, c's & c's welcome as always.

Very nice image Paul, the BG and lighting has really set off the bird and the perch tops it all off nicely. No nits from me.

Very impressive, especially with that ISO setting. Did you have to use noise reduction, the result is superb?

Very well done.

I would look to removing the Blue cast in the body/chest plumage, looks a treat then. Nice BKG.

Big thanks for everyone for looking too.
