Does anyone have experience with selling Photographs and product on Etsy.com? If so, what was the experience and would you have copyright concerns regarding theft on this site? I was recently alerted to this site as a possible venue for sales. Let me know what you think.
Thank you for your comments.

Hi William,
I have sites on Etsy and on Fine Art America (in addition to my regular website) and have sold several pictures on Etsy but nothing on FAA. I think what makes Etsy work is that I call it my Ocean State Photo Store and thus mostly limit the product to my photos of Rhode Island. They seem to be popular with buyers who live in the area or with Rhody "expats." Since you're either printing the photos yourself or are yourself responsible for getting them printed, you can upload them in low-res versions so the potential theft problem is greatly minimized. Hope this helps.
