Fox in Frost
Thanks for the comments on my last image.

I was out again this morning looking for the Foxes. The weather was very good, with clear skies, mist, and frost, and I saw one of the foxes as soon as I got there! This was taken a bit later in the afternoon as it ran through the frost.

Cracking shot, love the way the autumn colours in the background match the fox, nice pose captured too!

Stunning! The low POV works really well here. Lucky to keep the frost all day too.

it is a lovely looking fox image - if it were mine, and if you have the canvass, I'd have had less FG and more of those fantastic autumn colours above :toast:

Thanks for the comments. Graham, is this better?

I'm going to be awkward and say I prefer the first one, there is too much empty space at the top in the second, even if I do like the colours.

Second image for me, Oscar. The fox looks like it's in hunting mode, keeping low to the ground, therefore the lower position in the frame works better IMO.

Both work for me Oscar although the second would edge it slightly. It certainly is a top image though. This is going to seem very nitty but eye does go to the small fleck of frost on the tail

A cracking image enhanced by the frost covering.
