I am looking to get a SSD drive for my Mac Pro. I narrowed it diwn to the Corsair Neutron or OCZ Vertex 4. The latter a bit cheaper and with 5 year warranty. Dont know much about them, so any advise appreciated. Do they fit without any problems in the Mac Pro. I assume it it easy to clone all the programms from the current drive onto the SSD?
Many thanks

I use a OCZ drive on my Macbook and also have one in my iMac as a replacement for the pretty redundant internal optical drive. Dead easy to fit into the Macbook and all it needed was a drive caddy to get it to fit into the iMac. Used as a boot drive it really speeds things up a lot in the iMac, and it also quickens start up time with the macBook. Would I be right in thinking that the MacPro will need a 2.5in drive caddy to accomodate them?

I've got a Mac pro too. The internal drive bays are 3.5", but the SSD's you want are 2.5" as John has said. The Corsair Neutron comes with a 2.5-3.5" adapter according to their website. You'll have to buy one for the OCZ by the looks of it. I'd go for the drive with the 5 year warranty if it were me buying it. :wavey:
