D7000 300mm f4 + TC14e ISO 250 1/640s at f6.3 monopod.
Another seal shot. Like its whiskers on this image and the olours of the water. Many thanks for your comments on my last post. All C+C warmly welcomed.
Bob...not sure about the purple, I did lighten that area a little and never noticed the purple until you mentioned it.
Nick.

Must be natural Nick as it is here again on the neck and in the eye. The water looks good and makes the shot for me.
Hi Nick, I agree the water gives a nice feel to the image.
Depending on how much image area you have and based on the line of the seal's neck, I might look at a CW rotation, say 3.7, but see what you think. Giving the water a little boost with an adjustment layer with a blend mode, reducing the blue in the seal and adding a small amount of selective USM to the head really makes it sing IMHO.

Personally I would have said a CW rotation of 3.5 or maybe 3.6 at a push sorry i think im funny! lovely shot I would try to bring out a catch light in the eye if you can to make it come alive but its a lovely shot

Nick
The reflective sky and ripples work so well with this image really enhanced, well captured.

I love this Nick, would make a great print. I do think the bg at the top looks a little noisy though. Not sure why, as it's only at ISO 250!
