Hi ya'll!

We try to visit CO as often as possible - we just love the Rockies!
We've been to Colorado many times, and my folks used to live in C Springs. My brother was born there in the sixities.

We always talk about moving there ourself someday.... And my Mom/Dad really would like to move back when she retires.

We may be visiting in late July! I wish I could hit it up there in the fall though - but we have kids in school.

Anyway, we're looking at the Denver area - but a small town outside Denver would suite us much better. We're small town folks! I know the traffic will be bad, and I'm hoping that it won't bother us too much while there! Did I mention we're from a TINY town?

I'd like to visit RMNP, G Gods, Dinosaur Museum? for my youngest (he's 6), and any other photographic or place of interest - nice smaller towns or lesser known areas.

I'm also a PRCA Photog, and may hit the Frontier Days Rodeo in Cheyenne late July.

We may possibly head to Gunnison and down to Lake City too!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

I just love visiting this forum!

hey if you all want to do the Garden and possibly a few Waterfalls and Cascades in the Pikes Peak area, give Rebecca and I a Call.

Kathy - if you love small town Americana - you gotta visit Lake City! It doesn't get any better - great scenery and a Norman Rockwell setting! Great photo opps around American Basin, North Clear Creek Falls, and Creede. You can also sneek over Engineer or Cimmaron Pass into Silverton/Ouray area and head up into Yankee Boy Basin. The wildflowers are usually out the later half of July, but it's gorgeous anytime of year!
