Stacked Cones
European Larch Cones.
The only deciduous conifer about to loose its leaves.
Its possible to get away with hand held stacks, as CZM is amazing at lining the pics up (Sometimes ! ) It worked this time. I liked the colour of the needles not long before dropping.

I've tried getting away with hand-held stacking in CZM a number of times, and never managed to get away with it, so well done John.

There is one obvious seam but I do not know if that is CZM or JR  ? Never did a stack so cannot say. I do like the colours too though.

Thats diffferent JR! I do wonder if a portrait might have worked better with the two vertical parallel twigs in the image. Never tried stacking so well done!

Great depth to this one, JR. Love the colours too, just needs a bit of snow for cone perfection

Thanks all. There is a bad blending seam in the centre of the pic- getting lazy
Nick - I did try one but the two branches are a bit too separated in my view.
Thanks for looking
