Hi Guys,
Hope you are all well...
First of all my apologies that i have not been around for a while..
My health issues have been making it hard for me to join in and spend much time on forums over the past few years and work has kept me occupied or on the road on many occassions.
Nevertheless i am still here and still working as a professional wildlife photographer so thought i would join in again with an image i shot recently during my trip through Southern Africa.
It's a shot of two Hippos playfighting early morning. Wish you all the best and hope to be able to join in more often...
Greetings,
Jeroen Stel

Good to see you back Jeroen, and with a such a smart shot. Great colour in the water and a typical hippo pose. It took me straight back there

Good to see you posting here again, Jeroen. A shot I have been after for years, but never quite managed to get.

Welcome back dude, spot on hippos shot - some awsome shots on FB too!
Hi Jeroen, nice golden light, amazing how quickly it comes, and goes!!! The light has given some nice soft shadows and forms, sweat. In a hide you'll miss the fun, did you ever get out on a skiff or a makoro?
Personally I might have less FG, one third/two thirds.
Look forward to more, BTW where about's in SA?
