The December 2012 edition of Nature Photographers Online Magazine is now ready for your viewing!
December’s cover shot is an aerial photo by NPN member Emmanuel Coupe entitled “Werewolf.” It is a stunning abstract taken over Iceland and if you look carefully, you just may see the werewolf!
Alain Briot continues his series on using color harmonies in photography, this one on Cool and Warm Color Dominance Harmonies. Links are included to the previous installations, all of which are very informative.
Rob Barbee offers some advice on how to avoid some of the most common technical pitfalls in capturing nature photos in his article Simple Steps to Improve the Technical Quality of Your Photos. This one is an excellent read, for both amateurs and seasoned pros alike.
NPN member Luke Ormand takes us to the West Indies in his Nature Photography Destinations – Dominica article. An amazing place to photograph the beauty of nature, be sure to check out Luke’s article.
Finally, Paul Faust serves up a couple of reviews this month, one on a product and the other on a book in his December Reviews column.
NEW! Starting this month, we are placing Facebook Like links with each new article. We invite all readers – members and non-members alike – to click the Like buttons if they find these NPN articles useful. As always, there is also a comment section at the end of every article for NPN Members to post their remarks - please be sure to leave a comment!
