Sunset Light with Zumwalt Barn
Another shot of the collapsing barn on Zumwalt Road. This one was taking on the return-to-town trip. Sunlight color was quite nice.

The light and leading lines are fantastic! Print large and hang!

Thanks, Joe. I'm thinking I should crop up from that lower right skid mark on the gravel road, or at least clne it out. Waddayall think?

Good comp and leading lines, Marylynne, and I love old barn shots. If you're thinking of cropping, and if it were mine, try cropping it from the top down to the lower cloud bank for a more wintery mood. This would also give you a nice pano effect. The skid mark doesn't bother me. Just my opinion. Whatever works for you.

Here are two different pano options: One is 12x20 and the other 10x20. I'm eager for votes on which of the two (or three, I guess, if you prefer the original) you like best.

My take in general is that the foreground might need to be brightened a bit if the sky is cropped, but maybe it's my unplugged laptop ;-).

In the cropped versions, the dark cloud bank/storm clouds become very prominent, as if exaggerating the "doom" of the barn to collapse. The original shot seems to be so completely balanced with all the elements of the scene. Difficult for me to pick which one is best. I'd say it depends on what story you want to tell… Great shot either way!
