Participation

Over the past few months I've noticed that there seems to be a small core group of us (4-5) that comment on a regular basis about the work that is posted here. There are many others that occasionally post a photograph, but have not shown much participation by commenting or critiquing others' work. I know we all get busy with everyday life, but I'd like to encourage more participation from the whole group. Comments don't have to be long, drawn out critiques, but just a few words about what you like or don't like about the image. Doing so would encourage others to post more of their work, and help improve the forum as a whole. I think the Central States region has a great bunch of photographers, and will get even better if we all work together to increase participation. Comments are welcome!

Bill, I agree, I would really like to see more comments and pictures from some of the others in the group. I am sure it will make all of us want to post more and get feedback from the group.

Count me in! This is a place where you can get valuable CC. Many have moved to FB groups, but it is just not the same. Wows and likes don't help one improve. I will commit to participating more.

Good post, Bill. I know that my participation has been limited due to an increased workload over the last few months and it doesn't look to slow down for the next few months. I will strive to participate more on this forum - I generally spread comments around the regular critique galleries and occasionally in the RMNP forum as well. I have some images from both in and outside of our region that I haven't had much time to process lately.

Bill, I'll do my part too. It would be nice to regain the "glory" we once had on this forum. With a little work and encouragement we can get this place rockin' again. Thanks to you and Darren for all you do here.

We have some great talent here and our region has some amazing (and mostly underappreciated) locations. The more we all get involved, the better we make each other.
