Lowl, re post and scene setter
One from earlier this year. Had a great time with this youngster who was very inquisitive and also partial to meal worms

5dMK2 24-70 f2.8 @ f11 ISO 640 1/800 Hahna Giga T Pro all points active

cropped slightly and a couple of worms cloned out

Wow. Great POV. An excellent 2½ D image, with a HDR look to it. A shame about the worms being cloned out.

Love it

Should have waited a few more seconds, then you wouldn't have needed to clone the worms.... :jump:

First class image Bob, and one with a high degree of commercial appeal :toast: :toast:

HDR David  I am only just getting the hang of levels thanks to AA & PE  :wavey:

I just noticed that I was using my 24-70 not the 16-35

Thought you might like to see the attached:wink:

Hi Bob, well I feel this is your best to date, cracking. :toast:

It just goes to show, with a little thought, how you can turn something from an everyday set-up into a very creative, interesting, appealing, and as Mr A said, very commercial image. The low POV, coupled with the wide angle has give the image the linkage with the viewer being at eye level, plus the addition of the hay bales in the BKG gives the image context and habitat. Ticks all the boxes for me.

Now, if you couple the image with a bit of time with Mr A you will be on your way, it's the only way to go. :toast:

Great work.

Can't fault it, Bob. Great to see the second image too, I always enjoy seeing how others achieve their shots.

Bob, you have to get a shot of the LOWL sat on the Lannie bonnet with the Reg. No. showing or better still sat on the steering wheel!

The little wotsit spotted the meal worms in a box on my dash board. Stopped feeding them a little while after as they were getting a bit too keen

Hello mate - I seem to recall this was in the 'summer' - when was that exactly ?

There's some video of the Lowl on one of my blog posts....... :wavey:

Would still like to see the LOWL sat on top of the steering wheel, the ensuing poo could be messy though!

Would love to see a LOWL, let alone that setup, brilliant. Thank for the info.

Nick, it certainly got messy when I spilt a tuppaware box full of meal worms all over the cab
