The voting has concluded and it's time to announce the chosen images from this year's Fall Color Contest. Please join the moderators in thanking everyone for their entries and congratulating the winners. It was a year jam-packed full of stunning images!
This year our 1st Place winner was Jason Hatfield for the image "Cascading Levels." Jason will be taking home a $105 prize. It should be noted that his images "Mt. Sopris Sunrise" and "Over the Edge" also did very well in the voting. Congrats Jason!

Choosing an order of top three was difficult as each has obvious merits. Congrats to Jason, Jack and Phil

Congratulations to all of the winners, great work by everyone this year! So hard to vote with this many excellent images.
Big congrats to all, an excellent crop this year, as always. Don't take this the wrong way, Jack and Phil, but I am kind of gratified to see a non-Colorado-aspen-mountain image take first place this year. Stellar photo, Jason!

Just curious...if the images are posted to the designated size why do some look huge and others don't? I noticed this with images shot in landscape orientation only. None of the images shot in portrait orientation even came close to filling the screen. However, if you view the vertical images from the link on this thread they show larger than they did on the contest voting page.
Wow that's awesome, thanks for the votes guys and gals . Glad I could share a different kind of fall shot.
I enjoyed viewing all the other work; there were a lot of great images in there. Jack you need to share that location , it's killer! Nice job on that amazing sunset Phillip, I was there earlier in the day but missed it when I had to drive my wife back to Carbondale.

The group vote did a great job choosing the winners. It would have been a very dificult proposition for one person to decide the top shots. Congrats to the chosen- you all give me alot to aspire to.

This is the first year in many that I've not been able to enter. I've had to live vicariously though the many great entries and voting was indeed tough. Congratulations to everyone for such nice shots!

I was not able to go shooting this Autumn due to workload, so it was a huge pleasure to join Roger R. in his vicarious life with y'all!!

I dont think any group anywhere produces the quality of images that is produced here. I am always amazed and feel proud to to be associated..
