Photographed this bird on May 18, 2010 at 10am. The location was Lake Evergreen in Central Illinois. The bird was some distance away in a bare tree in a shallow area of the lake. It was perched for a few moments and then flew off. Could not tell if it was singing or not. The image quality is poor, it was a very quick shot. There were warblers and orioles in the area.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
