Now that the Fall Contest is over, surely there are a lot more fall shots that could be shared! With so many on the forum out and about shooting there has to be more. So here's an invite, let's see them. I enjoy seeing images of fall almost as much as I like making them.
Also, there was a dirth of fall images on the forum from other states, especially Zion and the rest of Utah which I know many like to frequent this time of year. Then there is the whole New Mexico and Arizona thing. And, yes, I'm not forgetting Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.
I look forward to many superb images!

Okay, you asked for it! Fall at Kehena Beach along the Red Road on the Big Island of Hawaii. It's tough, but someone has to do it.

Love those Hawaiian fall colors!
Morris: I would love to post some and will fairly soon. But before I post any photo, I have to go through the formal copyright registration process with the Library of Congress, due to requirements of one of my stock agencies. Copyright after publication is way more expensive and onerous. Most legal definitions, I've read and heard, say a photo posted on any website for whatever purpose is considered published. Pre-publication allows me to copyright hundreds of photos for $50.00 so the more I can copyright in one submission the lower the price is per photo.
This is also why I can't participate in the fall color contests.

Ok, Morris - you asked for it. You might regret it - I have lots I had one heck of a day shooting in Dominguez Canyon but haven't posted any here except for the leaf image I entered in the contest.

You forgot part of the PACNW! Visited WA and OR for 10 days and had a blast. Here's Mt. Shuksan, WA in early October. Color wasn't quite peak, but it was glorious just to be there.

Cascade Locks, OR. Can't remember if I've posted this one before, but apologies if so. I know some saw it on my FB page.

And the coolest thing I saw all Fall...3 pods of Orcas (more than 60 whales!!) in a 2 hour period off of San Juan Island, WA. Probably one of the best experiences of my life! This picture doesn't even come close to doing it justice, but shooting from a rocking boat with critters that don't exactly breach on cue is tough!

Last one... another Mt. Shuksan. I loved that place!
