More fall color images from Texas. This was last week in our Japanese Garden in Fort Worth. The native cottonwoods and Japanese maples were both in great colors.
I like the perspective bet it looks better in larger size. Will be down to Plano in couple weeks hope to get a shot of something then.

Thanks. There is still a chance for some color next week. Well traditionally color lasts until about Christmas. However its been windy and we lost a lot of leaves this week.

Beautiful combination of reds, yellows, and blues, and the sidelight on the trunks brings out their texture nicely. Excellent work all around, Darren.

Darren, you are so lucky to still have some fall color! I like the colors and the twisted trunks, nice work.

Very nice set, Darren. I especially like the last of the three images. The vibrant color and the shallow DOF really make that image stand out.

I really like the composition. The cottonwood limbs add dimension and depth.

Great color combination there, Darren. Somewhat unusual to have native Cottonwoods and Japanese Maples together. I know what you mean about the variations from year to year. I have been told that the drought actually helps bring better fall colors. We had some great colors going until we had 3 or 4 days of 40-50 mph wind. Our fall has been over for a long time already.
