This time of year around the winter solstice gives us more opportunity to photograph night scenes. The moon can give us the required light to photograph landscapes even when it appears dark to the naked eye. This month, show us your photos taken of scenes in the moonlight, or even photos of the moon itself!

A little bit of moonlight and light from nearby Front Range cities allowed me to get plenty of light on the peaks of the Mummy Range in Rocky Mountain National Park under the Big Dipper.

And a very similar shot of Wetterhorn Peak, seem from the Matterhorn. (Funny all the appropriated peak names!)

Some great images so far! I'll add my shot of a moonbow and lightning taken a few years ago.
