Coming back from the Wallowas, I stopped at the Boardman Aspen farm (only noticed a no trespassing sign on my way out). Playing with various treatments and vertical v. horizontal crops, but here's my first attempt at a finished product. Suggestions?

Love this one, Marylynne. Love the comp and lighting on this. I've been there several times and the lighting was never satisfactory to my liking. You nailed this one.

Marylynne, You may have been in the twilight zone. Maybe you were trespassing when you left the farm since the sign was noticeable only on leaving. Perhaps we are all trespassing unless we are on the farm. Notice that all the eyes are looking out serving as sentinels to protect those within. Enough silliness. I really like this image. Thanks.

Is that the real color of those trunks Marylynne? They almost have the look of a negative piece of film! Very eye catcing in any case!
Jim: I truly think the sign is only visible when heading west...back toward the freeway. I always figure that if I'm doing no harm, and it's not really a persnal or wilderness trespass, I'm unlikely to get arrested. And If I do? Well, I'm glad it's for photography instead of my teenage pursuits!!
I like subdued color. It speaks of winter and the quiet.

This is a very nice image Marylynne! I know this just repeating what others said but I really like the lighting, the comp and the mood you've captured. Great job!
