Whatzit?

Is this just a kind-of sick bird (head tumor and deformed bill) or is it some type of crossbill, which we do have around here?

I have forgotten the name but it has a condition of the bill and nares....I believe it is a fungus. will have to look it up.
as to what.........have no idea.
