B&H lowered a handful of Canon lenses today, absolute lowest I've seen since '08:
EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM Lens - $1,799.00 ($200.00 drop)
EF 135mm f/2.0L USM Autofocus Lens - $899.00 ($90.00 drop)
EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Zoom Lens - $2,099.00 ($200.00 drop)
EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens - $1,999.00 ($100.00 drop)
EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Autofocus Lens - $1,399.00 ($100.00 drop)
EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Autofocus Lens - $ 1,299.00 ($140.00 drop)
I think the two of interest on this site is the 16-35mm and the 70-200mm.
These prices are pretty crazy (in to ways, lol, 1 is that they are lower than ever, and 2, that we're paying this much for a LENS. YIKES!). As an eample, I paid $1350 for the 16-35mm on rebate in 2009 and at the time was a great price. Since then I've not seen it under $1400. And the 70-200mm is a full $500 off list price and $70 cheaper than I paid in 2010.
I know, we all have lots of spare cash the week before Christmas. But if you've been waiting to strike, I really don't think we'll see them get any cheaper. That massive 85mm/1.2 grapefruit that Canon calls a lens has never been under $1800 that I can remember in the last 4 years. Crazy prices.
Speaking of, the 5D Mark III was an eBay Daily Deal again yesterday for $2599 from BigValue. I saw it too late but it comes up almost weekly. It turns out BigValue is NOT on Canon's official dealer list so the warranty may be a concern. I have seen DataVision in NYC and Beach Camera in NJ do the Daily Deal on a 5D3 for $2799 (and they ARE on the list). That's how I got mine.
More deals to come...

Nikon is running crazy incentives on full frame camera bodies too. I take it high end camera/lens sales in general are hurting.
