First my apologies for lack of activity. I have been up to my eyes at work and limited to mobile Internet at home due to router issues. Now I have more time I have been struck down by one of the bugs that we pay a nursery £400 a month to send my son home with:-(
Best not comment based on phone however finding out you woodpecker is a grey headed not a green is like loosing 10p and finding £1. Spent ages trying to see one of these.
Anyway I have got the age when radio 1 has been replaced by radio 4( although I am still to young to listen to the worryingly named 'Cross Incontinence' )
To the point-Saving Species at 11am today is well worth a listen to on iplayer as it discussed art aiding conservation including a price on a photographer working to save Northern White Rhino, the only disappointing thing is that Craig Chirchills recent work would have been a better story.
All the best

Since I did not know grey-headed woodpeckers existed I am learning to live with my shots. :) But now I discover there is a radio 4, I thought there were only 1 & 2 But I live in Munich and generally do not get to see or hear much from the BBC due to "licensing" issues
Next year we start Ginder Garten, more expensive with great variation of germs. I feel for you Ian.

I was brought up listening to the Home Service and I am still a fan of Radio 4/Radio 4 Extra especially the Science/Nature programmes and GQT.over 60 years later. Long may they continue, my years and Radio 4/Radio 4 Extra
