We got not only some much needed rain on Christmas but it also turned to snow in the afternoon. I went out to a local park late in the day and got these couple of images.
Snow is a rarity here, and on the holiday even rarer.
Made for a nice day.
Hope everyone had a great holiday!

And another in the winter wonderland.

Yep, these both look more like what you might find in Kansas ... not so much in Texas. Great surprise and I'm sure that most enjoyed the White Christmas. Thanks for sharing these Darren.

A nice surprise for your region. Our newspaper stated that we have not had snow on Christmas in Fort Smith since 1926. I bet it has been longer than that in Fort Worth?

What a nice surprise that must have been! Unfortunately, the storm passed to the south of my home...never saw a flake.
Those are some nice winter scenes you found, Darren. Bet it was nice to get out and play in the snow for awhile. Thanks for sharing.

Nice Darren. Unfortunately, the snow here brought many power outages with it. Over 200k customers lost power in central AR. Some will take over a week to restore. We were lucky here at my house. Five inches of powder and plenty of electricity!
