Hey all! With 2012 coming to a close, I want to thank the members here for giving me a hand. As some of you know I've been working as a photographer/photo editor for a magazine called Colorado Life. I've had the great fortune to publish the ridiculously outstanding work of many RMNP members in the magazine this year. Here's a shout out to some of them:
• In the Jul/Aug issue we had a stunning photo essay about fourteeners featuring Jody Grigg, Jack Brauer, Todd Caudle, Erik Stensland, Dave Showalter and Glenn Randall.
• In Sep/Oct we had a story about the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad that had images by Randall K. Roberts and Guy Schmickle as well as a story with tips for fall photography locations illustrated by Grant Collier and Erik.
• Stan Rose chipped in with beautiful photos from the Great Sand Dunes and Black Canyon of the Gunnison in two different issues.
• In Nov/Dec we had Rod Chandler providing an awesome snow goose image and had a stunning Garden of the Gods image by Dave. (I also got to write and photograph a story about the Devil's Backbone near Loveland too!)
• Our upcoming Jan/Feb issue has a photo essay on Colorado National Monument captured in winter with images from Dave, Grant, Stephen Trainor, Randy Langstraat and others as well as another story with some sweet ski shots!
I hope to continue getting the work of our members into the magazine over the coming year. Many of you are already on my list of trusted freelancers and I'm looking forward to working with even more of you in future issues. Thank you RMNP!
Colorado Life has been needed here for so long and is a huge asset for anyone who loves Colorado. It's an honor to be a contributor. Thanks Joshua for making top-shelf photography a priority to show off our state!

Thank you Josh for including the local photography community!

Thanks for providing this opportunity for some many photographers, Josh. I'm sufficiently grateful that I won't even complain that you put one of my photos near a photo by that shady Erik Stensland fellow .

I never even heard of this magazine 'til now.
Is anyone doing any publicity for this at all?
I'll get a subscription ASAP. Thanks for the heads up!

Ditto John's reply...Never heard of it. I wish I knew of those issues featuring our group here so I could've checked them out.
That said, I'm going to look for subscription info.
Congrats to those featured, and kudos to Joshua!
