This image was taken this morning at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine, CA. It was bouncing around in this bush and there were no others that I could see. At first I thought it was a Bushtit but the eye did not seem right. A couple hours with Sibley and I am still stuck

I believe it is a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. I saw some at San Joaquin last weekend.

Definitely a gnatcatcher - note the thin beak, eye ring, and white-edged long tail.
