Hi,

Amazingly it stopped raining for a while this morning so with an incoming tide it was off to coast... A small group of these turnstones and Sanderling co-operated for a while till dogs and walkers brought play to an end...

A happy new year to you all and I hope 2013 is good to you...

Looks like he's enjoyed a good lunch! I agree about dogs and walkers, but as they help to make the birds more confiding overall (at least, in my opinion) I don't complain too much about them. Good to get a day when it was possible to get out and take some shots as well. A happy new year to you too, Phil.

Great low POV on this one Phil. We have quite a lot of turnstones near Fort William just now so I must get out and get some shots when the weather improves (that will be about April!)

All the best for 2013 Phil!
