13 Memorable Moments from 2012 and Why
I built my yearly blog entry on the past year. I took a different take on things. Instead of trying to pick out my favorite images I decided to concentrate on memorable moments from the past year including this one which is the 1st shot I took with my 'new' gear after having my entire camera bag stolen in Budapest in May (wish I could do it over again and get me a D800 and lenses - oh well) .

Grand stuff as always Rich. The World Traveler of RMNP. My favorites are Green Wall with Tree Shadow and the Fremont Bridge pano. Hope you have a prosperous 2013.

Rich, hope 2013 isn't as expensive for you. Despite your difficulties, you captured some incredible worldwide images. I like #2, #4 & #5.

Just an amazing collection. You have these panos and night shots and interiors absolutely dialed in, Richie V. :toast:

Man! That's impressive. First, glad to see you and your fine work back here, Richie V. I really like the way you narrated each moment and enjoyed all except the camera theft. The Times Square image stand out for me; maybe both for its familiarity and the rarity of seeing a perfect pano in the rain. Candle Tower, the arch shot... WOW! :toast:

Incredible travel photography Richie, hard to pick a favorite among such ecellent images but I think the fireworks image narrowly gets my vote.

Wonderful Architectural imagery1 I love the Times Square panorama with the watery reflections and the most expensive image! Your night images shine! The Wall and the Red jacket is one that makes me ponder and think I love the texture and the mystery! Very Cool!

Your travel photography never ceases to amaze me Rich. "River of Gold" and "Town Hall Through Arch" are my favorites with such great color and depth. Thanks for sharing these with us.
