Wishing everyone a very Happy 2013.
I'm posting to thank everyone for all the good critiques and thoughts over the past year. I was in film some thirty-five years ago with a F1 and FTb and too many ektachrome slides :) - this past year was my serious reemergence into photography and in particular digital photography.
I'd love to post a best-of-2012. But a long-needed holiday investment in a Core I7 X79-based desktop to replace my aging Core Duo laptop (granted, an Alienware m9750) is allowing me a moment to revisit some shots. Heh, I can actually "use" LR4; and stiches are now possible without crashing on memory :)
Its also been a tough year. My dad passed away in June - an industrial designer who started his career as a car stylist in the 1950's at Ford. He was an inspiration and I'm glad he saw me get back to the world I love.
Everyone here at RMNP is to be congratulated. I personally met, learned from and worked with several here this year. For 2013 - besides turning 50 in May - I'll be expanding my shooting territory and I may have enough good shots to finally start my online gallery.
Ring in the New Year!

Happy New Year Karl! I'll be thinking of you guys freezing your butts off when I'm at the beach and it's 75 degrees January 1st. Heeheehee:)
