The first catch of the New Year. Well for me anyway the Eagle may have had a couple. Caught it in route to the trees for meal, I hadn't had breakfast yet but not sure about the Eagle. Not the best shot of the day and I cropped it down about half to show the shad. There are 50-60 in the area still spread out with a lot of open water, but starting the season pretty well. So far 18 in one tree shot is the most in one frame.

Good flight shot! Like that you have detail in both the white and dark feathers. The fish adds to the image.

Nice catch of the Eagle with the fish in his talons...something one doesn't seen very often. Good work, Kendall.
