Got up early to shoot the first sunrise of the new year. I knew Bill Bean was going to be there, and it turned out that Todd Caudle was there, too. It was a gorgeous sunrise...

Good to know that TC is alive!

Excellent pano, Bob!

Ditto! (on TC) Maybe burn down the sky a bit (digital grad perhaps) and this will be super, Bob!

Yup, TC is alive and well...
I've been looking at that sky and trying to figure out how to fix it. I'm not as good at some aspects of post-processing as I'd like to be.

Turns out that I have digital GND plug in. How does this look?

That's much better, Bob. What a glorious sunrise you captured! I like the panoramic crop, too. Or is this a true panorama?

Thanks John (and Stan, for the suggestion). It is a pano crop...one of my goals for this year is to get better at stitching together some panos, along with learning a few dozen other things.

Love the repost too with its pronounced blues though I'd like it maybe just a tad lighter/less saturated to get back some of the emphasis on the atmospheric, blowing snow that was highlighted the first version. Look forward to seeing more panos Bob!
