This yearly show case is an accumulation of not only hard work by the many photographers involved, but also an amazing effort by all the very fine gallery & forum moderators working in conjunction with the site support personnel all year long. Congratulations to all the members who had images selected for 2012 EPA. As a former moderator I know how difficult it can be to select an image of the week, much less the three best for the entire year. A big thanks to all the mods and to Jim and Donna for all the effort.

When I opened the NPN home page, I was the beautiful slide show amazed me; and then when I saw one of my images included there, my eyes (and my mouth) opened about twice as wide! It's a thrill to be included with such a talented bunch of nature photographers, in this amazing slide show, and every time I visit NPN, which I plan to do a lot more in 2013.
Congratulations to all the EPA winners and to those at NPN, whose examples helped them improve to this point. THANKS to Jim, Donna, the mods, and everyone at NPN who raises the bar -- and the quality of nature photography more each year.
