The year didn't go quite as planned or hoped for. But, a thank you is due to Jack Brauer, Darren Kilgore and John Mumaw for information and recommendations that made my fall Colorado - Utah trip a success. Thank you, Jack, Darren, and John.

Great collection Doug, it looks like you had a wonderful fall trip. My favorites are the Canyonlands and Green River Overlook images, such sweet light!
Sorry to hear about your dog Sam, it sounds like he was a great companion, I'm sure he was happy to get those extra couple months with you.
Pretty fantastic Bryce image Doug. Thanks for sharing your best from 2012.

A mighty fine collection, and I'm pleased that I was able to help in some small way. And no, you will never get a better sunrise at Bryce.
I was very sorry to read about the loss of your travel companion.

And, again, Jack, thank you for your recommendations. Wouldn't have gotten those without your help.
Beautiful collection and sorry about your loss, I know how much a dog can be a part of your life and losing one is never easy.

Beautiful images! My favorites are Canyonlands Sunset and All Alone both are lovely in color and form. I'm so sorry about your sweet Sam. He looks like he had a great spirit!

Your Bryce Canyon photo is one of the best sunrise images I've ever seen from there. Nicely done! I also like the deep shadows and brilliant light on the Wall Street shot. A very difficult, and oft overlooked, location to attempt a "magic hour" image of!
