Helps in giving you a sense of the size. From this past summer. A work in progress.

Wow! I had no idea it was that big!
Cool photo...thanks for posting!

A great way to show the size and especially the depth of this mine, although the first was the more 'artistic' of the two.
If anybody ever needs images from this place, I'll know where to send them! Excellent work (in progress?), Ron.

Thanks guys. Yeah, this place is huge!

I prefer the first image from an 'artsy' point as well. Thanks for for sending anyone my way! I just licensed almost 100 images from the quarry to a large film studio (cannot say the name yet) so that they can study them and build a movie set for an upcoming film (cannot say that name yet either).

That gives a great sense of scale to this place. I got to see inside it several years ago now, and was completely amazed.

Wow, that place is huge. Makes me think of Dwarf mining cities from LOTR.

Very cool perspective, and I agree with Jason about the LOTRO reference.

What a great image - enormous in scale with lots of small detail to study throughout. Very cool.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I've always thought that the inside of the quarry would make a good setting for the mines of Moria. I'm looking forward to getting back into the quarry and shooting more with the 17mm TS.

Nice job Ron. Love the inclusion of the people at the bottom of the photo. Almost didn't see them down there. I look forward to seeing more work with the 17mm Tilt/Shift!
