Venice Rookery Action?

I was wondering about how active the Venice Rookery is this time of year. What species are nesting, etc? Any help would be graetly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi Dave I was there before the beginning of the new year and the action was kind of slow. there were a few great blue herons nestting and lots of anhinga hanging around building nests and 1 pair of great blues have two chicks up front of the rookery. Have fun!
