The RMNP cover photo that will begin 2013 goes to Jackson Frishman for his image of a cold misty moonrise in the Valles Caldera, New Mexico. A perfect image for January and one that displays the unique mood of moonlight. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

Thanks all, the praise means a lot coming from so talented a group as this one! This was definitely a right-place-right-time kind of image. I was thinking of trying my luck up there again during the January 26 moonlight ski/snowshoe event. Anyone care to join me?
Incidentally, Phil, this one was shot with that old tripod you sold me. I've long since upgraded, but that one was a bargain that I needed at the time, and I took a lot of good shots with it.
