Something I've been wishing for, for a number of years!

But how much will it cost?

Thanks Don,

I was at the CES Show in Vegas this week. I can say that 4K screens dominated the show floor; and the technology went beyond such as Sharp's 85-inch 8K screen.

Over at Canon, I caught Laforet's presentation. Toward the end he observed (poorly paraphrasing) that he sees a shift in photography - as the resolution and quality of video as a string of RAW's emerges, you'll work in video and select your still shot from the sequence.

Just waiting on RAW and some kind of inheritance or something.

WOW! (and ditto Morris' comment. Especially the inheritance part. )

Another step in the right direction, I think 4k is something you'll see in the mid-range DSLRs in 2-3 years.
