Thanks to Sandy Richards for nominating Jenaya for the scholarship, and to Jim for leading this fundraising effort to help her get to the NANPA summit. I'm sure this experience will give Jenaya even more inspiration to share here amazing images with us!
Will PayPal automatically convert our international currency to Canadian dollars?
Hi Wayne and thank you so much for your support of Jenaya's photography and this opportunity in particular! Yes, it's really not that big of a deal if donations are sent in USD, though PayPal does make sure they make money on the exchange, so the total available toward the sponsorship ends up being donation amount less PayPal transaction fees less exchange. You can designate the currency to be CAD at the time you enter the donation amount, but be aware that will result in a slightly higher USD amount billed to your account.
It's really not a problem either way, and we are simply so grateful and humbled for this tangible expression of support towards Jenaya's growth as a wildlife and nature photographer!
With sincere appreciation...
