Thanks for the comments on my Bearded Tit image.

This was taken this afternoon as school was closed at 12.35! I was very keen to get my foxes in the snow, and this was my favourite shot from the afternoon.

Nikon D300s
Nikon 200-400mm f4 VR at 340mm
Handheld
F4
1/640s
IS 640

2 oof grass stems clone out from left hand side.

Great timing to catch its tongue, Oscar. In my day schools didn't close for a bit of snow, how times have changed. I would have been tempted to risk 'six of the best' and played truant to catch a shot like this with my Brownie Box Camera :biggrin: :wink:

I love the way the fox is coming towards you. The tongue is a bonus. Glad to see you are making the best use of a school closure!

We have a foot of snow in Munich, somehow I managed to get to work along with everyone else... like Phil, just sayin'

Great fox shot, would kill for some miself! Snow adds depth.

I like the tongue but for me the blob of snow on its head really makes the image stand out. One of your best Oscar.

Thanks for all the comments.

Tom, actually nothing! They're not bothered by me at all there, and I wasn't baiting it. I know the route it takes so as soon as I saw it I ran ahead of it and lay down! :smile:
