Hey everyone! I feel bad posting here, as I just don't seem to find the time to really contribute. I do however check in regularly and drool over some of the great work that is shared.
Well, I've put together two selections of my top images, one for Rocky Mountain National Park and one for other locations I've visited. As always, I'd love to get your input on them. Thanks everyone! I hope to see a lot of you at the Shindig!
Beautiful shots, Erik. As Joe noted, hard to pick favorites out of that group. However, really like the fall color south falls and snowy forest from Oregon shots, and the snowy trees at Dream Lake really spoke to me. Thanks for sharing!

As one who has spent a bit of time exploring RMNP lately, there is no doubt in my mind you really know how to capture the essence of the park. The Glacier Creek fall image has always been of fav of mine. Frankly, this location may be the best for capturing an iconic fall color shot other than Bear Lake.
I can really relate to your one narrative about not always being able to capture the right sky conditions in the park. Seems like 90% of the time I plan a day trip, I get bluebird skies. Excellent work, Erik
Love the collection! 1, 5 and 9 are my favorites from RMNP (no, I didn't peek at Stan's comment before deciding for myself ). 2, 3, 4, and 12 were my favorites from other locations.
I may have to pick #12 as my overall fav. Excellent processing. Strong, dramatic comp and clouds, and great shutter speed. Great choice to go B+W. There's not one thing I'd change on that image. TFS!
Hi Eric, nice to see your 2012 recap. All of these images are super and certainly would make most everyones top 12. I especially like the interesting, less viewed comp from your Hallett Peak image. Nice take on the mountain, I love the inclusion of the two foreground trees on the left and right that anchor the image extremely well. The above the clouds shot is fantastic too!

Excellent work, Erik, loved the Silver Falls and Rialto Beach shots as well as the sunrise/abovetheclouds, and Hallet Peak/autumn (amazing feeling of depth). Thanks for posting.

I love lighthouses and seascapes. "Smeaton's Tower" is wonderfully colorful, with the perfect moment captured of the bird in the rainbow. The Olympic scene is just as powerful in black and white. I like how the foam and clouds compliment each other. The Glacier Creek fall image and the Dream Lake April melt show a couple of my favorite RMNP landscapes in ways I have never seen before. It's fantastic how we can visit these places time and time again and never see things exactly the same way. Thanks for sharing these Erik.
Always happy to see your work, Erik, and plenty of us here know about being busy. Your smoky Longs Peak and Dream Lake thaw shots really stand out to me, and the Rialto Beach image is killer!

Wonderful work, my friend! Your talent shows through in all of these from both sets. I always get a kick out of how good your shots from places other than Rocky are. Just more evidence of how good your photographic eyes are.

Both of these collections are absolutely to die for! My favorite non-RMNP image is the Rialto Rocks, but you know how much I love that looking down stuff!! The fiery Estes sunrise is my favorite RMNP image. Looks like you had a wonderful year!
A superb collection of images Erik, great to see you really "got out there and after it" this year. I really like your PP on the B&W winter image but not as much on Kawuneeche Valley shot. Your Glacier Creek fall shot is just great, I'm really pulled into the image.

That's quite the collection Erik! The first one on Trail Ridge is awesome, I've always loved being on top of cloud inversion.
