Autumn Red Maple Leaf
Another image from a few years ago. I did use an HDR plugin from Perfect Effects 4 for this image. Thanks for looking and comments are always welcome. Canon 10D 28-200 Lens, 1/10sec F/10 ISO200, tripod

Anyone else have red autumn images they can share? Post if you got them!

The red leaf has some great color. Overall it is too busy though for me. I think "farming" the scene and putting the red leaf on top of the others might work.

Hi Darren. I shot this as found, but I see your point about the framing and adding the leaf. Good idea I'll have to keep it in mind the next time I have an opp like this. Thanks for the suggestion and coment.

The concept is a tried and true approach but in this image one thing I notice is that the red maple leaf is kind of "squashed" in appearance because of the angle of view. I'd like to see it with the red maple leaf in more normal proportions if that makes sense.
