Better late than never, right? Here are my favorites from 2012 and they are a little all over the place. I realize why I feel so scattered in my photography...because my subjects are!
Enjoy! 12 from 2012

Being I am quite partial to macro/closeup images, I really can appreciate your efforts on all those in this group. You have real creative eye for composition for sure. Thus, Ice Leaves is my fav. Also like Courthouse Towers as it is well executed. How many were taken with the Nikon 800?

Looked through all your website images and you are truly talented. Macros were exceptional.

Thanks so much, Ken and Joe! Ken, only Ice Leaves was taken with the 800. I only got that camera at the beginning of October. I went out with it yesterday and got some fun stuff. It has been an adjustment in that I use extension tubes now, but I have more ability to crop. Thanks for looking!

The Ice Leaves are my favorite out of a very well done series!

Beautiful set, Anne! I love the flower macros--and Beer Float is my fav!
Very nice work, Anne! All the macros are excellent. I like the Pawnee Buttes shot a lot, never been there, but your take gives me a different sense of the place than any other image I've seen. Ice Leaves is awesome, and I really like Radiant Conifer too. Ponderosas are such beautiful trees, but it's not too often that you see them as a main photo subject.

Anne, because all of these are so different than the norm around here, all of them stand out. You have a special talent for macro work, a technique I'm trying to pick up. There's an entirely different world in the close-ups. If I had to pick, Butterfly Wings and Bee Light would be the winners. Thanks for sharing.

I like your macro images, especially Ice Leaves and Calla Curves. Well done!

What a great collection! I wish I could do macro like that. I wouldn't even see those image possibilities. Really, really beautiful Anne!

Thank you so much, Erik, Doug, Kane, Jackson, Stan, and Don! I appreciate the feedback. I am hoping for a good 2013. It is starting off well with the Orchid display at the Denver Botanic Gardens!

A beautiful collection of work. I'm always partial to your flora work, but the landscapes are just as nice.

Thanks Bob and Morris! I appreciate your feedback! I hope to see you both at the Shindig

The detail on these is phenomenal. The water drops on the red leaf is my favorite but I also like the unusual wide angle of the Pawnee image. It really brings out the character of the plains.
Beautiful set of images, the elk shot and the Courthouse Towers sunrise are my favorites.

Anne, beautiful set of photos! I love Calla's curves... just beautiful! Ice Leaves and Synapses come in at a close 2nd. Really all of the images are very well done. You have a great eye for detail! I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you in person at he shindig. My son gave me the stomach flu and I have been down for days. I hope to see you at the raptor shoot. I'm trying to get the day off.
