Colorado-Arkansas
Since we've been cursed with blue skies, I went fog hunting this weekend, which took me to Colorado National Monument, and I shot the Arkansas River on the return trip. EUHOTC (eat your heart out, Todd! )

Great set, Stan! That fog bank is fantastic, and I think #s 3 and 4 are my picks of the CNM images. But my favorite of the whole set is the first one fo the Arkansas rapids; I really like the combination of flowing and crisp you achieved.

Everytime I shoot in the fog I also think of TFM (The Fog Man)! Great series. I especially loved the image you posted, the b&w and those reflections were killer. Very nice!

I liked the sunlight spilling down into the fog of this posted image, but then it was superseded by the ice glow and running water images on your website. Those are very nice. I could see trying cropping off the oblong pool at the top of #18 and have a different abstract

The blue ice and water movement that says "Photo © by Stan Rose" is my favorite! Actually, I really do love that 2nd from the bottom shot. Really terrific. The light on the ice is very appealing as well.

Great work, and great timing from the Monument, but I'm crazy for the colors in the reflection shots. :toast:

thanks Todd, hope you had it wrapped in bacon--things always taste better with bacon!

Sweet stuff. I'm partial to the seventh image down, with the kiss of light visible on the rocks and the inversion layer swirling above. The color of the third image is also vividly interesting.
