Pouring Rain
Here's a shot I took during a trip along the coast in early December. I was on the Three Capes Scenic Loop near Cape Lookout and decided to follow a sign to the Clay Myers Natural Area. To say it was pouring rain is a slight understatement. I sat in the blissful solitude and tranquility for a very pleasant lengthy amount of time.

D700, 105, f8, 1/80th, ISO 640. Cropped to pano from single frame.

I love this! Very calming shot. At first glance, it looks abstract, and the little touches of detail reveal that it is a photograph.

Very nice catherine. I love the muted colors and fog in the background. It does look like it could use a little cc rotation.

I like the pano format and how well this captures a slice of the serene beauty that those of us in the NW get to enjoy, even in the rain. Nicely captured Catherine

Great image. I love how you emphasize the muted tones without losing their tonal softness.
