I did not participate on this forum in 2012 and vow to do so more in 2013. Here is a shot from Spring 2012. Taken during the Spring Gathering for CSNP. The waterfalls were trickling at best so several of us took off in a search for moving water. The middle fork of the Illinois Bayou did not disappoint.

The rising fog in the back really is the icing on the cake.

Hi Bob. Darren already pointed out the fog in the background, but what I like is the low angle with the rocks in the foreground. Nice work, thanks for sharing.

Welcome back Bob! Very nice image of the bayou. Or as we say here "bi-o". I hope to see more of your images here, and maybe we can shoot together some this spring.

Welcome back,Bob, I really like the low perspective on your shot. The fog and the hint of sunshine are a plus.

Good to have you back Bob. I know that the group is trying to rekindle this forum and get it back to its former glory so we're looking forward to your participation.
Mentioned already were the low shooting perspective you chose and the fog in the background. Lovely scene well captured.

Great to see you posting again, Bob! I like this a lot. Maybe worth playing with some B/W conversions too. I see some nice textures, patterns, and light that might be worth exploring.
