That is a LOT of water man.... I can imagine the sound was quite monstrous, too....

I like the haze up the river..... impressive !!

Creek? sure looks like the McKenzie River. Love the color of the water, and the mist in the BG.

Good comp on this one, Rick. I think it looks great. It does look like a lot of water, especially after the long exposure!

I think it looks great, up to, but not quit including where it drops off the print at the bottom left. I think getting the end of a creek is about as hard as finding a good pose for hands in a portrait. Maybe if it was cropped up a little so there wasn't such a wide expanse of water running off the edge of the print? But from that point back, it's great. Love the look you go here.

I love it Rick, this has a great flow to it and I like being able to follow the river back through the frame.

Rick,
I agree with Zack. It has a nice flow to it. I myself like the mist in the background. The processing looks great. The water may have a little blue green tint to it. Not too bad though.

I like it but somehow the processing makes it look "chunky". I'm comparing it to Neds shot and his looks smoother. Ya see what I mean?

I'm lovin the composition and that mist in the background. I agree it does seem a bit over processed though. The water especially.

Maybe post one prior to the curves work etc so we can see what you started with? Fear not Rick - we've all done it and will do it again......sigh
