I live in central Texas and most of the floral is cactus or scrub brush around my area and a few trees everything else is pretty much desert its not all desert but not much that I consider photogentic maybe Im wrong and should photograph some and see what is look like .. Flowing water in creek beds is almost never unless we have a good rainfall but latlely everything is none dry or little puddles. There are a few areas I can go to Ill give it a try

I've been to a few of these places. More flowers than you can imagine.... Of course, it's Texas... so everything is a bit of a drive.

I appreciate all the help everyone has been giving me. I think I mentioned it before but I came from the wedding and portrait fields and somw wildlife but not like I want to be now I take this very seriously and I am very crtical of my work and when others see things I dont I get right on it to make it better

Try taking photos at night. It's like you've been given a whole new world.
