Nikon D7000 500mm f4 ISO 640 1/125s at f8 tripod.
Taken in garden at feeding station. There are a couple of Robins in the garden who come to feed and Robbie whose has taken ownership of the garden and feeding area is on point looking for the interlopers. In fact he has just spotted one and will launch an assault to drive off the intruder.
Many thanks for the comments and advice on my Buzzard image, I have taken them on board.
All C+C warmly welcomed.

Only one question - what have you done to get that much noise in the background - didn't think the 7000 was that noisy.

I agree with Andy about the noise in the background, is this a big crop? Whatever the answer, it should be easy to highlight the background and apply a little noise reduction. It's a smashing picture and well worth the effort.

Thanks folks. The original (almost full frame) is not too noisy but what I did do is re-size, sharpen and save as a JPEG then went back into it and lightened the image a little and I think that has enhanced the noise. Next time I will lighten the original then do the re-size etc.
