Since I have never been there yet, Richard, I really appreciate your sharing this so I know what to expect if I do get there.

Yep, im guessing that 10-20 years from now, youll be able to fly around in a virtual 3D image of any location on earth. No more mystery, no surprises. Just stay home and play video games. I lament it personally, but im a grumpy old man.
Its ok Stan, not everybody has that kind of time to fly around in a virtual 3d image of any location on earth.

Personally, Stan, I'm of the opinion that those people who can't appreciate the quality and difference of experiencing a location with their own eyes really SHOULD stay home and look at the world in virtual 3D. Too damned many people out there already. (you can add me to the grumpy old men list ... and I'll bet I'm older and grumpier than you)
