Fieldfare with apple
I haven’t been active on this forum for quite a while, but I hope to contribute more regularly the comming time. During the last snowperiod, I have been photographing fieldfares in my parents' garden. This one was foraging on an apple.

Nikon D300s @ 250 mm, iso 200, +1.3 EV, f4, 1/200 sec on a beanbag.

Sharp with plenty of detail and the color of the apple works a treat

Hi Sandra, I like the simplicity of this, but achieving this can be more difficult too! Nice detail where it counts, you could het some more definition from the snow, but I quite like it, but might look at trying to extract some from the apple. Just a thought, but try a 16x 9 crop, might work too?

Very nice indeed Sandra. Simple but effective and lovely colours against the snow. :toast:

Your most welcome Sandra, need anything else you know where to come.

It's all looking good, just need to get those whites corrected if you feel it helps.
